However, other than that, ISE is proving informative, exciting and bigger than expected. Digital signage is growing up fast with the focus shifting from technology to content, content management and business models of making money selling screen space. For the AV folk collaboration is in the air. Apart from the rumours about X aquiring Y company the collaboration is forming around the network. IP connectivity and streaming for applications and functionality is driving new technology and new ways of working. Tandberg, AMX, Crestron and Extron are all moving beond using the network for control and making it the pipeline for picture, audio, and even desktop.
